Khaṇḍasumanattheragāthā
BJT 96“Sau khi để lại một bông hoa (cúng ở bảo tháp đức Phật), tôi đã hưởng thụ ở các cõi trời tám mươi koṭi (800 triệu) năm, với phần còn lại, tôi chứng Niết Bàn.”

6. Kệ Trưởng Lão Khaṇḍasumana
“Ekapupphaṁ cajitvāna, asīti vassakoṭiyo; Saggesu paricāretvā, sesakenamhi nibbuto”ti.
I offered a single flower and then amused myself in heavens for 800 million years; with what’s left over I’ve become quenched.
“Do đã từ bỏ (cúng dường) một đóa hoa, (tôi) đã hưởng thụ ở các cõi trời trong tám mươi ức năm. Với quả còn sót lại, tôi đã được tịch diệt.”
