Gahvaratīriyattheragāthā
BJT 31“Bị cắn bởi những con ruồi, bởi những con muỗi trong khu rừng, ở trảng cây rộng lớn, tựa như con voi luôn dẫn đầu trong chiến trận, vị có niệm nên chịu đựng tại nơi ấy.”

1. Kệ của Trưởng lão Gahvaratīriya
“Phuṭṭho ḍaṁsehi makasehi, araññasmiṁ brahāvane; Nāgo saṅgāmasīseva, sato tatrādhivāsaye”ti.
Pestered by flies and mosquitoes in the wilds, the formidable forest, one should mindfully endure, like an elephant at the head of the battle.
“Bị ruồi và muỗi đốt trong khu rừng, trong đại lâm, người có chánh niệm nên chịu đựng ở nơi ấy, giống như con voi chiến ở đầu trận tuyến.”
