Nigrodhattheragāthā
BJT 21“Đối với sợ hãi, tôi không hãi sợ. Bậc Đạo Sư của chúng ta là vị biết rõ về Bất Tử. Nơi nào sợ hãi không tồn tại, các vị tỳ khưu tiến đến nơi ấy bằng Đạo Lộ.”
Đại đức trưởng lão Nigrodha đã nói lời kệ như thế.

1. Kệ Trưởng lão Nigrodha
“Nāhaṁ bhayassa bhāyāmi, Satthā no amatassa kovido; Yattha bhayaṁ nāvatiṭṭhati, Tena maggena vajanti bhikkhavo”ti.
I’m not afraid of fear, for our teacher is expert in freedom from death. Mendicants advance by the path where no fear remains.
Ta không sợ hãi điều đáng sợ, Bậc Đạo Sư của chúng ta thiện xảo về Bất tử. Nơi nào không có sự sợ hãi, các Tỳ kheo đi theo con đường đó.
