“Udakañhi nayanti nettikā, Usukārā namayanti tejanaṁ; Dāruṁ namayanti tacchakā, Attānaṁ damayanti subbatā”ti.

While irrigators guide water, fletchers bend arrows straight, and carpenters bend timber straight, those true to their vows tame themselves.
Người dẫn nước thì dẫn nước đi, người làm tên thì uốn tên cho thẳng; thợ mộc thì uốn gỗ, bậc có hạnh lành thì điều phục tự thân.
