BJT 98“Sau khi nhìn cảnh sắc, người chú tâm ở biểu hiện đáng yêu có niệm bị quên lãng. Vị có tâm bị luyến ái nhận biết, bám víu, và duy trì điều ấy. Đối với vị ấy, các lậu hoặc, gốc rễ của tái sanh, dẫn đến sự tái sanh, tăng trưởng.”

8. Kệ Trưởng Lão Abhaya
“Rūpaṁ disvā sati muṭṭhā, Piyaṁ nimittaṁ manasikaroto; Sārattacitto vedeti, Tañca ajjhosa tiṭṭhati; Tassa vaḍḍhanti āsavā, Bhavamūlopagāmino”ti.
… Abhayo thero ….
When you see a sight, mindfulness is lost as you focus on a pleasant feature. Experiencing it with a mind full of desire, you keep clinging to it. Your defilements grow, leading to the root of rebirth.
“Khi thấy sắc, chánh niệm bị thất lạc, đối với người tác ý đến tướng khả ái. Với tâm tham luyến, người ấy cảm thọ, và an trú trong sự đắm nhiễm. Đối với người ấy, các lậu hoặc tăng trưởng, dẫn đến gốc rễ của sự hiện hữu.”
